Help us call on the UK government to make mental health a priority this World Mental Health Day

We’re in the middle of a mental health crisis. Many of us are being left behind by a broken mental health system. And on top of this, mental health stigma is still a significant issue. The scale of the challenge is huge, but with political and systemic change, we can create a future where no mind is left behind.

That’s why for World Mental Health Day 2024 we’re asking people to join us. Join our call on the new UK government to make mental health a priority.

What are we asking the UK government to do?

<

  1. Reform the outdated Mental Health Act

  2. Raise the standard of mental health hospitals

  3. Build a network of support hubs so young people can get mental health support before they reach crisis point

  4. Support people with mental health problems to thrive at work

  5. Make benefits assessments work for disabled people so everyone has a financial safety net when they need it
